Illusion

"Illusion" is a short animated film about a wizard concealing a secret from his partner. While their love appears to blossom, the hidden secret keeps their relationship from going to the next step. Will their relationship remain this way forever ?

Visual Development

I have prioritized the visual development aspect of my animation, acknowledging that effective art direction is crucial in engaging and holding the attention of an audience.

Both characters were designed with matching colors to symbolize their connection. Their similar uniforms hint that they attend the same university, a detail not explicitly mentioned in the film but suggested through their attire.

To enhance the visual storytelling, I use color scripts to evoke specific emotions in the audience. The color transitions from vibrant cool hues to warm orange, then to deep blue and pink as the story moves from happy and romantic scenes to sad and heartbreaking moments.
