Ouroboros diary is a light novel serie project, concurrently this project is a pilot book to the serie, The story use concept of endless diary which passed down through generations of people, Illustration were in form of Point of view from character eyes or similar to photograph captured by camera lens. The story of this series has been in the making for 5 years, but only recently that I've decided to create a book out of it.

The Ouroboros’s Diary

This diary holds tales from past eras and the hidden knowledge buried by the sands of time. Passed down through generations, it serves as evidence for beginning of a once prosperous human civilization from its dawn to its dusk. Yet, not all within its pages was meant to be unsealed, for some secrets, once uncovered, might cause history to repeat its cycles once more.

Book Keeper A title for those to bear the diary and its knowledge, Each keeper wields their new found knowledge in their own way, One might achieve glory, while another may face their demise, all through knowledge from the past. In this pilot book, We will follow a young man named Spades Winter and his twin Azure Winter, He and his twin were adopted by a Book keeper named Cedar Winter, a swordsman from the north.

The Collectors

The main antagonist faction in this story is driven by ringleaders who seek to gather every relic, artifact, and transcript from lost civilizations. Each ringleader has a distinct purpose for these treasures-whether it be for wealth, revenge, or the salvation of a loved one. To achieve their goals, they will stop at nothing. To them, the Book Keepers are merely a minor obstacle in their pursuit of the Ouroboros Diary, an artifact which holds all the knowledge of the forgotten past.

Timeline

Ouroboros's Diary is set in an alternate history where magic and human technology advance simultaneously . Magic is the blessing of the gifted, while those less fortunate strive to develop technology to equalize the playing field for all, regardless of inherent ability. The pilot book takes place in an alternate late 18th century, with each subsequent volume capturing a distinct time period and theme. Presently, my focus is on an early modern era infused with elements of medieval fantasy.
